The life of Lilyrose

Chapter 3

We jump in his car and we drive up to his house funnily enough not far from his mums cottage as we arrived we are greeted at the front door by someone that looks like a butler he escorted us in and took us to Ryders dad office and both my mum and dad are here too to my shock.

I instantly asked why they didn't come home last night they both said they had their reasons and they have something to tell me and that I might not believe them,

so both Ryder and his dad left and gave us some privacy, they both asked me to sit down and then they both explained that I am not ordinary and that I am going to be a werewolf on my 18th birthday and Ryder is my soul mate and future luna to this pack I started laughing as I thought they were joking as warewolfs don't exist I kept telling them then the unthinkable happened both my mum and dad acting strange and then the next think my mum and dad disappeared and two white wolfs were standing in their place I got really freaked out and ran out the room and out the house and kept running till I couldn't run anymore, I had a look to my surroundings and thought to myself that's great I will definitely be eating by a wolf out here not sure were I was I knew one thing for sure was I was definitely lost.

Just at that I hear rustling coming from behind the trees and a silver wolf emerges coming towards me I take a step back and plead with it to stay back but it didn't it kept coming till it was right infront of me it then sat down didn't move started looking at me with a sad face and it started to whine at me and I just freeze hoping it wouldn't come near me.

Just at that I hear my name getting called by both my parents who are coming towards me I ask them both to stay away they respected my wishes just at that the silver wolf walked behind me and in a split second it was gone and Ryder appeared and put his arm on my shoulder and tried to keep me calm and told me he was the silver wolf and that what my parents are saying is true and that he would never hurt me,

I started to feel dizzy and started to see black spots in my eyes and before I knew it I was waking up what looked like a hospital room and I could feel someone holding my hand and hear someone calling my name but I couldn't see or hear properly as my senses are a bit hazy.

The next thing I know is someone was prodding at me and then it all went dark again.

I begin to try and open my eyes not knowing how long I have been out for, I try to establish where I am and notice I am in a hospital room on my own I am still lying down on a bed unable to move as I am connected to machines that I believe is a heart monitor as it is beeping away I try to sit up but cannot.

The door opens and in walks Ryder with a smile on his face he starts walking towards my bed and sits down on a chair next to me.

Ryder takes my hand and gives it a squeeze I let him as I do really like him but then I start to remember what happened before I collapsed and instantly pull my arm away. I tell him to leave that I want to be on my own he pleads with me to stay saying he won't hurt me but just at that the doctor walks in.

He introduces himself and asks if its ok if he run tests and then the most surprising thing happens he starts to call me luna and I can see that Ryder becomes angry and starts to get into an argument with the doctor.I start to panic and think to myself I need to get out of here and that's exactly what I did I did I disconnected myself from the heart machine and ran out of the door.

I instantly here Ryder and my parents shouting after me but I don't stop and I don't look back. I managed to get outside and see a bus and thought here is my chance to get away and thats exactly what I did.

I don't really know where I am going buy all I know is I have to get as far away from here as possible I am not ready to face them and if its true that I am going to be a werewolf then so be it if that's what's to happen. I will do it on my own

Last stop the driver tells me I ask him where we are and he says New York and I thought this is good I ask if there are any hotels close by and he points me to the nearest one luckily I have my purse on me I pay the driver and thank him and start to make my way to the hotel.

I arrive at the hotel pay for a room and make my way to my new room thinking this is my new home for a while. I go straight to the bathroom and enjoy a nice bubble bath as I am sitting in the bath the door flies open and in walks a very angry looking Ryder who starts yelling at me telling me I shouldn't of ran away and that I am going with him I said no and told him to leave and get out of the bathroom he takes one look and realises what he has done and apologies and leaves me in the bathroom.

I finish bathing myself and dry myself realising I have no clean clothes but find a dressing gown hanging up I put that on and make my way out of the bathroom to see Ryder still there waiting. He starts to walk closer and I tell him to stay back he stops.

I tell him I am not ready for this this and that I am scared I apologise for leaving but I need some space, he just looks me in the eye with a sympathetic look.

He respects my wishes gives me his phone number and leaves.
