THE ALPHA'S BRIDE

CHAPTER THREE

A knock was heard on the very big door at the entrance. One of the guards headed to get it, the door was opened, then the Moon Goddess walked in.

Mila stopped scrubbing and looked up at the lady standing at the entrance, the Moon Goddess.

She immediately stood up, prostrating before her.

The Moon Goddess was fair skinned, tall, blonde and very pretty...

"I need to speak with the master, Alpha Jake" she said, her voice showing authority.

One of the guards nodded and headed into the chambers to get Jake.

"Alpha!" a masculine voice called from behind the door.

Alpha Jake frowned slightly

" Give me a minute, I'd dial you back" he said to another voice over the phone, ending the call.

"Alpha!" the voice came again

"How dare you disturb my rest!" Jake scolded from inside the room

"My apologies Master, but the Moon Goddess wants to see you" the voice, of the guard came

"The Moon Goddess?" Jake mumured

"The Moon Goddess rarely visits Alphas, founders of packs unless it's something important, most times..."

"Choosing a Luna?" he questioned himself

Sighing, he got up from the arm chair and walked over to the door, flinging it open.

The guard earlier, still stood there staring directly at the floor

"Leave my way" Jake said walking out on the guard.

Alpha Jake came down to entertain his guest, the Moon Goddess. Mila served drinks and danced before them

Oh poor Mila.

" It's a pleasure to have you here" Jake said, faking a smile

"You can stop smiling now, I know it's not in your nature and you don't want to" she said

"Anyways, I'm not here for entertainment and boring chit chats, I'm here to speak with the Luna" she added

Alpha Jake's face gave a real smile for the first time in a very long while

"A Luna?, could my daughter be the Luna?" he thought

"Ye...Yeah, I'm listening" he stammered, the Moon Goddess nodding

"I'm here to see the Luna, Alpha Phil's Luna" she declared

A very devilish smile crossed Jake's face, thinking his daughter would become Phil's Luna, founder of one of the most powerful and populated packs in the whole of Atlas

His empire would grow wild, his pack's powers would increase, and he would rule hand in hand with Phil, all these, he thought

" You mean Phil's Luna would come from my pack?"

She nodded. "Mila" she proclaimed.

Mila, who was dancing like she was being blown by the winds stopped dancing, her eyes widened at the hearing of her name, she staggered staring directly at the Moon Goddess this time. She gulped

Alpha Jake was beyond shocked, he stared at the Moon Goddess like she was a ghost

"You...you, you mean Alpha Phil, one of the most powerful Alphas in Atlas's Luna would be a human? A mere human?" he questioned

The Moon Goddess nodded, staring at the space above his head...

Mila's mouth flung open, disbelief boldly written on her face. She had heard a lot about Phil, but never imagined that she, a mere human, would become his Luna

"Moon Go..goddess, I...I'm... I'm Mila, are...are you...you referring to...to me?" she stammered

The Moon Goddess turned her gaze to her

"You're the one" she said, turning to Alpha Jake

"She's the one. Mila, the human slave, she's the one" she said.

Ava ran into the chambers, and fell at the Moon Goddess's feet

"No, no Moon Goddess. Mila is my personal maid, she can't have Phil while I remain unmarried, she's a human and I'm Father's first daughter, an Alpha too" she cried

"Ava!" Jake scolded

"That's bad manners. How dare you eavesdrop on our conversation? And more, how dare you go against the Moon Goddess's order?" he added

"Father let me be, Mila can't have Alpha Phil!" she yelled

"You seem to have forgotten your manners, you'd be punished for this Ava, now leave!" Jake scolded.

Ava, with teary eyes stared at her father, then at the Moon Goddess before glancing at Mila who was already in tears.

She stood up angrily

"You can punish me Father, but I would not let my maid get married to my dream Alpha, my weak human maid!"

She turned to Mila

"And you too, don't get your hopes up because you will never marry Alpha Phil, not now, not ever!" she yelled walking out on the three

"I'm sorry Moon Goddess. Pls forgive Ava, she is acting out of frustration." Jake said

"If Mila is his Luna, then it's fine with everyone in this pack. The ceremonies can begin tomorrow" he added

The Moon Goddess gave a slight nod

"Mila would be coming with me to meet Alpha Phil, she'd be returning tomorrow for the start of the ceremonies" she said, standing up.

She waved at Mila, motioning her to follow her.

Mila still stared in utter disbelief as she headed to the Moon Goddess's side.

They held hands and soon, they were out of the chamber

Alpha Jake yelled. He hit his fist on the golden table before him which gave a loud frightening noise. None of the guards dared to go near him because, it would only mean them signing their death wish.

They all shivered, none even raising an eyebrow to look at their Alpha...

Angrily, Jake got up and headed furiously into Ava's chambers

OVER AT THE SILVERLAKE PACK

Pink was at it again, sobbing. Her father had pissed her off this time, saying, or threatening that unless she gets married to Alpha Phil, she'd be disowned and be made a weak human

Emilie sat by her, consoling as usual...

Suddenly, a loud bang was heard at the door, startling Emilie and Alpha Pink.

They stared at each other, then at the door.

The knock came again, this time, louder.

"C...come" Emilie was interrupted, the door flung open. It was Phyna

"F*ck" Pink mumbled

"What's the matter Phyna?, you startled I and your senior sister, what's so important that you had to disturb us at this hour?" Emilie questioned

Phyna rolled her eyes

"Look Emilie, don't act like you're the Alpha here!, you're just a slave, my sister's maid!. Just because she gives you more respect doesn't make you higher than other slaves!" she scolded
