Chapter 10Jyran whimpered as the wolf shoved him into the cage. He couldn’t move his left front leg. Something had been torn in the shoulder when the wolf got him, he was almost sure. It meant running would be hard and climbing next to impossible. As the lock in the cage door clicked shut, he looked around. Who the hell kept a squirrel in a tiny cage? There wasn’t much he could do except wait, so he did. The throbbing in his shoulder was slowly eating away at his sanity, and by the time Justin walked into the cabin, he was ready to gnaw his arm off.
