One day, I decided that I had to do something to break this cycle. I decided to take a break from school, and to go on a trip. I thought that maybe some time away would help me clear my head and get back on track. So I packed my bags and headed off on my journey.
I chose a small, rural town.
It was was a quaint little place, with a main street lined with shops and cafes. There was a small river that ran through the town, and the air was filled with the scent of flowers and freshly cut grass. I felt a sense of calm wash over me as I stepped out of the car and took in my surroundings.
I found a small bed and breakfast to stay in, and I spent my days exploring the town and getting to know the locals. I found a small library, and I spent hours there, reading and just relaxing
