Elliana'S POV
My mother looked at us, her expression filled with concern. "What's going on?" she asked, her eyes flicking back and forth between Tom and me. "Where is your father?" She asked Tom.
"I don't know for sure." Tom replied.
"We can't find him," I added, my voice breaking. "We've looked everywhere."
My mother's face grew pale. "He's not here?" she asked, her voice rising in alarm. "Is he okay?"
"We don't know," I responded, feeling the sadness welling up in my eyes. "He is just no where to be found."
None of us could understand why my stepdad would leave like this, without telling us where he was going or when he would be back. It was unlike him to act this way, and it was starting to make us all feel uneasy.
