Jai’s pov

I sat her down on a bench… She began to shiver a bit

“Sorry, ” I said wrapping my left arm around her shoulder

It was an awkward position

“… Jai, whats the judges decision? You did promise to get back to me ” she asked

“Um… You’re gonna find out soon but before that,… I hope you know I care for you alot ” I said rubbing my the back of my head

“I like you alot Zara, and am not just starting to like you… I’ve loved you since and that’s the reason you were always on my good side and I was always there to protect you ” I paused

“Zara, “I called

She looked at me

“I know you’re single so don’t try to cook up a lie about being taken.. ” I said, she chuckled

I squat before her and kisses her forehead

Zara’s pov

I once suspected that Jai liked me but I waved it off cause he was a senior, well I’ll think about it later, right now, am being called back so the judges will tell me of their decision

“Miss Zara, we have decided and you are hereby chosen as the tenth selected contestant ” a fat lady among the judges said

I leaped for joy but stumbled on my foot as I heard the jerk say

“I never said yes… ”

Oh God, we are back to square one

“Tell me William, what’s so wrong with her story? “Jai asked visibly pissed off

Jai jerked up

“Just say yes so we can move ahead ”

The rest of the judges raised their hands happily

William stayed put

“So that’s it, its a full clear yes William, so just live with it “jai said

“Am one of the biggest sponsor here so my money, my rules ” William said and everyone sighed rolling their eyes

The rest of the judges murmured

“I need time to decide so I’ll take tonight to think about it… “He said with his eyes busy staring at my down part

I went back stage afterwards

On my way out of the auditorium, a car stopped in front of me scaring the daylight out of me
