**Chapter 6**
Theron’s control fractured the instant Celeste’s fingers closed around him, her small hand squeezing with drug-fueled boldness.
Heat surged through his veins like wildfire, his knot already threatening to swell at the base of his aching c**k. The knock at the door barely registered through the rush of blood in his ears.
“Mr. Virek?” Dr. Harlan’s voice came through the thick wood, professional but urgent. “I brought the suppressant and blood stabilizers. The pheromone contagion—”
Theron’s entire body shuddered as Celeste stroked him again, her thumb brushing over the sensitive head through his trousers. A low, tortured growl ripped from his throat. He caught her wrist in a firm grip, pinning it above her head even as his hips jerked involuntarily into her touch.
“Not now,” he snarled toward the door, voice rough as gravel. “Administer it through the slot. Then leave the rest and go.”
Celeste whimpered in protest, her free hand sliding down his chest, nails scraping over the ridges of his abdomen. “Theron… please. I need you inside me. It burns—”
The words nearly broke him. Her scent had thickened the air into something heavy and sweet, wrapping around his senses like chains. Every instinct screamed to flip her over, spread her thighs, and sink into her welcoming heat until she screamed his name and wore his mark. But the rational part of him—the alpha who valued consent above primal claim—clung desperately to the fraying edge.
She didn’t know about the wolf beneath his skin, the alpha power that made men obey with a single word, or the mating bond now pulling them together.
To her, he was still just a dangerous, beautiful stranger who had carried her out of hell.
He forced himself off the bed, muscles coiled tight as steel cables. Celeste followed like a magnet, rising to her knees, naked and flushed, dark curls wild around her face. She reached for him again, but he caught both her wrists this time, holding them gently but inescapably.
“Doctor. Now,” he barked.
A soft mechanical click sounded as the medical kit’s emergency panel slid open. Theron grabbed the prepared syringe and vial without looking away from Celeste.
Her glassy eyes were locked on his, lips parted, chest heaving with every shallow breath. The sight of her—n*****s tight and begging, thighs glistening with arousal—tested every ounce of his legendary discipline.
“Hold still for me,” he murmured, voice strained. He released one wrist only long enough to swab her arm and inject the suppressant. Celeste hissed at the sting but immediately pressed closer, rubbing her breasts against his bare chest.
“It’s not enough,” she gasped, hips rolling against his thigh. “I can still feel it. Everything’s too much… touch me. Make it stop.”
Theron’s jaw clenched so hard it ached. He tossed the syringe aside and scooped her up, carrying her back to the bed. Instead of covering her completely, he settled her against the pillows and stretched out beside her, keeping one leg thrown over hers to pin her in place.
His hand roamed her body with deliberate restraint—cupping a full breast, rolling the n****e between thumb and forefinger until she arched and moaned, then sliding down to part her slick folds.
Two fingers plunged deep into her heat. She was impossibly wet, scorching, her walls fluttering greedily around the intrusion. He curled them, stroking that perfect spot while his thumb worked tight, relentless circles over her swollen c**t.
Celeste came hard within seconds, her cry echoing off the high ceilings. Her body bowed off the mattress, thighs clamping around his wrist as pleasure ripped through her drug-enhanced system. But the suppressant needed time. The orgasm crested, yet fresh waves of need crashed in right behind it.
Theron didn’t stop. He added a third finger, stretching her carefully, pumping in a steady rhythm that had her sobbing with overstimulation and renewed desire. His mouth found her neck, sucking and biting along the sensitive column of skin, leaving a trail of possessive marks that stopped just short of anything permanent.
“You’re doing so well,” he praised against her ear, voice velvet-rough. “Taking my fingers like you were made for them. Come for me again, Celeste. Let me feel it.“
She shattered a second time, gushing around his hand, her scent spiking so intensely that black spots danced at the edges of his vision.
His c**k throbbed painfully against her hip, leaking steadily, but he refused to free it. Not like this. Not while the drug still clouded her mind and she remained unaware of the supernatural storm she had stepped into.
He withdrew his fingers slowly, bringing them to his mouth to taste her essence. The flavor—sweet, addictive, uniquely hers—drew a deep rumble from his chest.
Celeste watched him with hazy, lust-drunk eyes, then surged upward to kiss him. The kiss was messy, desperate, all tongue and teeth.
She tried to climb into his lap, to grind down on the massive bulge still trapped in his trousers, but Theron flipped their positions, pinning her beneath him once more without entering her.
“Theron…” she whined, legs wrapping around his waist anyway. The head of his c**k, still clothed, pressed right against her dripping entrance through the fabric. The teasing friction made them both groan.
“I know, baby,” he rasped, rocking against her slowly, giving her the pressure she craved without crossing that final line. “I feel it too. This pull between us. But you’re drugged. When I finally take you—when I knot you and mark you properly—you’re going to be clear-headed and begging for it and I won't stop even if you beg.”
Celeste’s fingers fisted in his hair, tugging hard enough to sting. Her hips bucked up to meet his shallow thrusts. “I do want you. I felt it… in the club. Touch me ”
The admission hit him like a physical blow. His hips stuttered, pressing harder against her core. He could feel her heat even through the layers separating them. It would be so easy to shove the fabric aside and bury himself to the hilt. His fangs itched to descend, but he kept them hidden.
Instead, he reached for the second vial from the kit—a stronger coolant stabilizer—and coaxed her to swallow it. She made a face at the bitter taste but obeyed, her body still trembling with aftershocks.
The minutes that followed were a torturous dance of restraint and indulgence. Theron used his mouth and hands to bring her to peak after peak—licking broad stripes through her folds, sucking her c**t until she screamed, fingering her through three more shattering orgasms while he ground his clothed erection against her thigh for his own fractured relief.
Each time she came, the drug’s hold visibly weakened. Her eyes cleared fractionally, the desperate frenzy easing into something deeper, more intimate. Sweat slicked their bodies. The silk sheets were ruined beneath them.
By the time the suppressant fully kicked in, Celeste lay limp and boneless in his arms, breathing ragged but no longer frantic. The raw, chemical edge to her scent had dulled, replaced by her natural sweetness layered with his own marking scent.
Theron finally allowed himself to strip off his trousers, his massive c**k springing free, angry red and glistening. He didn’t enter her. Instead, he guided her hand to wrap around him, showing her how to stroke him with firm, twisting pulls. It took only a few minutes of her eager touch—combined with the memory of her taste and the sounds she made—before he came with a guttural shout, painting thick ropes of release across her stomach and breasts.
He marked her that way, rubbing his scent into her skin with possessive sweeps of his palm.
Celeste watched him with something like wonder breaking through the lingering haze. “Theron,” she whispered, voice hoarse. “You could have taken…”
“I want all of you,” he said simply, pulling her close and ignoring the mess between them. “Not just the heat. But I wouldn’t cross the line without your consent.”
She nestled against his chest, exhaustion pulling her under. “You’re… something else,” she murmured, a tired, soft smile touching her lips.
Theron chuckled lowly, the sound vibrating through both of them. He reached for a warm cloth from the bedside console and cleaned them both with surprising tenderness. Then he tucked her under the covers, his large body curling protectively around hers.
Sleep claimed her quickly, her breathing evening out into deep, trusting rest. Theron lay awake longer, silver eyes glowing faintly in the dark as he traced the fresh marks on her neck and shoulder.
The bond thrummed between them, alive and waiting. She still had no idea what he truly was, but the bond said otherwise.

Outside the penthouse, somewhere deep within the city...
Miles away, in a house that smelled of blood and alcohol, Drevon Ashk went rigid where he sat.
He didn't seem to hear the remaining words that came out of his subordinate's lips.
Claimed.
His glass slipped from his fingers, shattering against the floor, whiskey pooling dark across the wood. He didn't notice.
For the first time in years, the ache that had lived in his chest since the night he lost her — since the night she left — didn't feel like grief anymore.
It felt like anticipation.
A slow, terrible smile spread across his face.
"So," he murmured to the empty room, eyes glowing faint amber in the dark, "the Virek boy found her first."
He rose, already reaching for his coat.
"That's alright. He can have her a little longer."
His fingers trailed almost lovingly over an old, faded photograph on the mantle — a woman's face, smiling, long gone.
"I've waited this long. What's a few more days?"
