At the moment I heard his voice, my heart tightened, and my body froze in place.
The front door was opened and my father glared at Ralph.
I heard my father's cold voice saying, "She's not here."
Ralph was quiet for a moment, perhaps not expecting my father to open the door, "Alpha..." but he still anxiously asked, "Wren and I had a miscommunication and she ran away. If she comes back, can you tell me? I want us to work this out "
