Kim Yufan entered, "Boss, the madam is here, she would like to see you. " Kim Yufan said. " Let her in " Bei Jingjing entered, and with one glance at Kim Yufan, he knew it was time to leave these two in private. After he left, Bei Jingjing sat in the office chair staring coldly at Mo JingXuan. " It's been a month now, aren't you going to ask me about how my suggestion went? At Beijing hospital, Danielle and the other interns were busy with the day. Who would have thought that being an intern would be this tiring? And this was just the second day. After rushing through many assignments and test, Bei Yichen raised her hand tiredly. " Yes Miss Bei what is it? " Mr Gu asked. " I am very tired. Are we not done for the day? " " No " Mr Gu replied. Seeing that it wouldn't work, Mr Gu finally gave up. He gave them an hour's break to rest as he was also tired. Bei Yichen went to sit on a chair scrolling through her phone. As someone approached her. "Hello, miss Bei. I hope you don't mind if I sit beside you. " Bei Yichen tought for a moment and nodded her head as the other person sat down. " Thanks for rescuing us. we were all tired,but who would dare ask Mr Gu for a break. " Bei Yichen smiled without replying. After a minute of silence, " Anyway, my name is Luo Mimie, A.K.A Mimi. I hope you don't mind if we befriends. " She asked awkwardly. Bei Yichen revealed a meaningful smile and said " Not at all. " As Bei Yichen and Luo Mimie sat together, they started chatting more comfortably. " So Mimi, how do you find the internship so far?" Bei Yichen asked putting away her phone. "It is tough, but I am learning a lot. " Mimi replied. Bei Yichen was not fond of having a good interaction with others. But seeing how she is with Mimi, and judging from Mimi's behaviour, who knows maybe she has something in mind.

Meanwhile, Danielle was also happy conversing with Liu Mei. " I heard there will be a hospital gala coming up soon. Would you like to go with me?" Lui Mei asked. " Although I am not fun of that why don't I give it a try. " " Okay, great I will get us tickets." Lui Mei responded cheerfully.

After the break was over,Mr Gu called them back to work. Bei Yichen stood up,her expression composed once more. "Thanks for the chat Mimi. " Bei Yichen said slightly nodding before heading back to her duties. Mimi watched a her go feeling a mix of intrigue and admiration for the enigmatic Bei Yichen. She wondered what lay beneath Bei Yichen's polished exterior but for now, she was content to have made a potential friend in this challenging environment.
