Just Another Day

175 Words
Beep! Beep! Beep! "Why!" I whine as I slowly pick myself off the bed. I shut off my alarm. I go over to the bathroom to shower and get dressed. I don't wanna go today. I keep thinking too much. Forget it. I am going. Besides, maybe something good can happen. I say goodbye to my mom and I start walking. I have a routine of walking to my friend's house before school. We have some interesting conversations before school. But today was a different conversation. "Hey, Matthew!" I wasn't listening to the other two talking. "Yeah?" i replied. "how would you approach a girl." "i don't know. not like you bozos. I would just talk to her, you know, start a conversation. No pick up lines." First and second block was boring. Lunch was interesting. I had nowhere to sit. But i noticed something, a girl sitting by herself. I should go talk to her. But I'm in the eighth grade. They would get the wrong idea. Screw it. I will take my chances.
