A squad car pulled up on scene and the chief himself got out. “Here you go,” he said, handing the warrant to White. “Freshly approved by Judge Walker.” Nathan finished the phone call he was on. “That was my agents,” he said. “They’re about forty minutes away; they’ll meet us out there.” He turned to Max and said, “Let’s head to the ME’s office.
