Elizabeth!" I called.
“I'm coming, Mrs Rhyde." She responded, and I rolled my eyes at myself in the mirror.
No matter how much I tried to stop her from calling me Mrs Rhyde, she just didn't seem to get it and I had noted that there was no way she would be that close friend I needed to share my fears and secrets in this household, so, I had completely left her to the affairs of the household alone.
“I'm here, ma'am." She said, standing at the door of the very large bedroom I shared with Tristan.
“Where is Mrs Doris? Is she here yet?” I asked her and she nodded.
" Yes ma'am, she arrived long ago." she responded, and I nodded.
“And your boss?" I asked referring to Tristan.
" He left for work as well.” She told me and I nodded in confirmation.
