LAUREEN'S POV Somehow, Sandra had succeeded in convincing me to forget about who Beryl was. She promised that Tristan would tell me himself when the time was right, and that he didn't want to steal that right from him. When I asked her if it was something that would hurt me more, she had replied in the affirmative and that alone made me relax.
