LAUREEN'S POV
It had been thirty minutes since I locked everyone outside and sat alone with my mom in the hospital room. Occasionally, I would hear the doctor and others knock on the door.
They even took turns pleading that I let them in, but I wasn't ready, and there was no way I would let them come in and take my mom away.
From the different voices I heard out there I knew others had joined them, from the doctor to Lyssa to Mrs Treasure, my dad had come as well as Laura, and they had all been taking turns to knock on the door, but there was no response from my hand as I wasn't done seeing my mom.
One person was left and if she did not come, then we would all remain in our respective positions till the end of the day.
I sat in my usual seat beside my mom and watched her face carefull
