THE SERENDIPITY

Chapter one

Monday morning, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew were in their sitting room (which was not very furnished). Planning on going to Paris and how they will arrange for their 1years old child(Chris).

(Mr Royce pov)

Tuesday afternoon, my friend (Anderson) called me that can we travel to Paris that their is a work opportunity there, though he said he will be our spouse but we gonna get him paid after we get there,should we try him maybe we can get the silver spoon we've been searching there,i said,your wish is my command darling,she replied,but all am thinking about now is our son(Chris)where will he live who will he stay with and how will he feel, am really bothered right now dear,I said sadly,same here,that's what am also thinking about now,yeah I think 🤔 he can live with my sis Lisa or what do you think??,she replied,do you think he will be okay with that??,i said,the only opinion I have now is for us to sit him down and explain to him the matter of things,she replied,yeah,I think that will be much better and helpful,I said.

(Mrs Royce pov)

Knock,knock,knock, who is at the door, while Mr Royce is in his room),it's me mum,am back from school,(the brilliant and the dreamer who wanna be a winner,Chris voice echoed), go change your uniform as I set the table,i said while he went straightup to his room,okay mum,where's Dad?? (Chris asked curiously like he know what's going on),in his room,I said,while Chris come to the dinning already.

(Chris pov)

mum am really hungry😋,tell Dad to come to the dinning table for lunch,i said without knowing dad is here already,he's here already,i heard mum voice from the kitchen,how was school today son,Dad asked jovially,ohh school was kind of stressful but I am a dreamer,so I have to say school was cool 😎 ,because I really achieved a lot today I said excitedly,I can now see you're an achiever,Dad said,while I was just making jest of myself.

(Chris pov)

(Few minutes later, we're done eating on the dinning table,we're now in the sitting room before Dad called me to the small garden in our compound)

Yes Dad, I'm here already,take a sit (he said very serious and moody),I took a sit,he called my mum again ,what's going on Dad( I asked curiously,because this have never happened and Dad have never been this moody),mum answered, calm down Chris,I sat curious to hear what mum and Dad have to say.

(I was trying to imagine how he will feel if his mother explain to him,because I don't know what to say,maybe it's because of the love I have towards him)

We called you here,because we are planing to travel to Paris(his face looks so brutal and moody),okay I'm going with you right, he said, no we are not granted the permission to take anyone along son,(he stood up to his room and lock himself in),open this door,I shouted,but he didn't open, I went to his Dad room to tell his Dad the way he acted up,not believing that his Dad is also acting upthe same way his son has been acting.

Am so confused,I don't really know what to do.

(Chris pov)

(I am inside before my mom come to knock my door,I didn't open up,because am Moody and unhappy).

How can mum and Dad say they are travelling while I will be left alone here, I seems its a joke, let me go get the reel from Dad(I stood up and held to Dad room,I met Dad room locked,Dad open the door I shouted,few seconds later he opened the door,I asked him angrily, Dad is mum saying the truth,because I feel it's a prank.

(Mr Royce pov)

(I am chocked the way Chris asked me a question,which he hadn't been doing, he doesn't question me for any reason,He's really acting up)

Chris, you have to calm down and let me explain, will you come in now so that I can explain to you, I said calmly.

Chris we have to travel to Paris,because we really need the silver spoon,but Dad I have a plan toward the silver spoon, he said seriously,let run 🏃‍♀️ to get the silver spoon together, let work as a team,let be united and put God first in everything we do.so that we can get the silver spoon🥄 we have never seen.

Okay Dad, what's are your plans for me now,he said sobbing,stop crying😢 son,you making me cry as well son,I said while tears roll down my eyes, don't cry Dad, I clean my face already Dad,you know I don't like seeing tears on your face.

(Chris pov)

(I was unhappy seeing my Dad crying, I think going with his plan will be the best)

So,Dad what's the plan?? I asked him calmly, I think you will be living with your mum sister Lisa or in the school hostel,it's now your choice to make,he said moody,I will prefer aunt Lisa,because hostel will cost you a lot.

(Mr Royce pov)

(I think Chris is kind of ready to agree to our plan,but I thank God for giving me an intelligent son like Chris, he 🤔 so fast as his father)

Really,are you serious about what you just said,yes Dad but I have a request,he said,go on and speak,I don't know if you can get me a laptop and an ipad for my long time dream to come true, so I can use that to start searching for the silver spoon🥄,he said while I'm already thinking where to get this money from.I think taking a loan will be better to make this boy happy, so we can get some things for our selves also,it's okay Chris I will make sure I take steps on that before we travel next week Tuesday and today is Wednesday,I need to do something fast,it's night already I think you should cook some noodles and to bed.okay sir he replied and move out.

Tommorow morning,i have to call Raymond a friend of mine which is a banker for a loan.

(It's morning already,so fast I need more rest,oh but I have to go to school, Chris stand up it's time to achieve your goal)

I took my bath and get prepared for school before mum came to my door, Chris,breakfast is ready so prepared to go to school, I was shocked,because she angry with me yesterday, wow no one can be like a mother,I can't imagine how I will feel when you travel to Paris,I will really really miss you mum,Chris are you still sleeping she shouted,I was lost in thought,I've forgotten mum is at the door ,am done mum I replied, okay she said and left.

We are on the dinning table eating, while I beg mum for my sin yesterday,she said eat up like it's nothing,I'm done eating okay mum I will be going to school now,alright son be a good boy

(I'm late already, I hope it's Ella at the gate)

Getting to the gate,I met Ella at the gate,I was really happy, Ella is my best friend in school even though she's born with a silver spoon,she's a gentle,brilliant and also the class president in my school.

Hi Ella, why are you late,come in fast before others see you now,she said curiously,we will talk about that later thanks, i got in excitedly.

It's breaktime,Ella come to give me a knock on my head.you dickhead if you come late next time i will make sure you are punished,Ella said while i run after her shouting her name, but she kept runing,suddenly she waited at our usual spot under a flower 🌲,(looking at her beautiful face make me lost in love with her,with her pink lips glowing,i feel like giving her a kiss but i can't,i think am in love 😍),chris are you here she shouted, (ohhh no,i was out of my mind),yes of course I'm here,so now explain what make you come late to school.

Ohh dear,my parents caused it,what!!do you just called me dear,(I'm really out of my sense now),it was a slip of toungue,really,okay lets go to the canteen to get some food,she said but i lost my appetite already,I'm filled with her love already, if i follow her i can do something unexpected,i don't have appetite,I think you should go I will be here waiting for you.okay,I will be right back, don't make troubles with those bullies,do you understand,okay thanks for the caring.

Few minutes later after she went to the restaurant, Charles and Charlotte come over to where am sitting waiting for Ella.

(Charlotte and Charleston POV)

Hey b***h,see let us tell you this and make sure you keep it in your empty skull, you are not even average percentage of Ella standard,so why are you forcing yourself on her,if I ever see you with Ella I will almost kill you that very day, you lowlife being,(I said angrily while I lay a slap on his face, with out knowing Ella is at my back already)

Suddenly,I heard a thunderous slap on my face,wth, Ella did you just returned the slap I gave to this lowlife being (I said angrily)

If you dare call him a low life being again,I will multiply the slap by 2 and lay it on your face again, you i***t,(she replied and took Chris alongside with her)

Shit who the hell is this Chris, should I give up on Ella,no no I can't even,If I want to not to this thing called Chris, I'll do all my best to make Ella my girlfriend.

(Ella POV)

I'm really sorry for what happened earlier, it's okay (he said with tears rolling down his face) don't cry anymore do you want me to do as you doing also, no don't (he said while he wipe his face up with my hand towel), you know it that what's best for you is best for me,I promise to be there for you whenever you need me,am really sorry not being there as quick as possible, it's okay,we have to go to class (he said excitedly, that make me happy),okay let's go.

(Few hours later)

(It's closing hour,I can't find Chris, I've been searching for him more than 30mins now,I hope those bull dog has not camped him somewhere)

Hey Daphne, have you seen Chris after closing today, yeah he's in the science lab (she said, thanks Daphne)

Hey Chris,why are you sitting here alone,are you still thinking about that nothing but a bull dog, common let's go home now,my driver is here so that he can drop you at your house, okay Ella thanks ,I really appreciate your love for me, you don't need to mention dear.

(Few minutes later)

We got to Chris house and drop him off,see you later Chris.

(Chris POV)

Dad am back,no one replied me,I held up to my room and take a fresh bath.

(Some minutes later)

(I held to the dinning table because am very hungry)

Mum am very hungry now,I really need to eat something now, I'm preparing something for us to eat,come and join me here in the kitchen,so the food will be fast done(she said while I kept murmuring,but I have to join her so that I won't be the one punishing myself), okay mum I will be right there with you.

Suddenly, Dad come as we are serving the food on the dinning table, welcome Dad (I said as I rush to meet him for his bag,but he didn't give it to me, but why I questioned myself),he join us in the dining.after we had the meal,he said I have a surprise for you all, you should guess before I show it up, Dad you know am not good at guessing just show it up, okay he said while he bring out a package and hand it over to me,I was about to open it before my teacher came in.
