Starry sat at his desk, his attention on the open file before him. He'd had the most exciting weekend of his life and now it was wearing off on how he talked with his employees.
Maybe it was the effect Chloe had on him. He'd showed up at work that morning and stopped to acknowledge every person who said hello to him. This was unusual since he never had the time to even give a nod in their direction. He noticed that the smiles that came his way were brighter than usual and he would be lying if he said he didn't appreciate how they smiled at him.
