Chloe stood up and walked to the door. When she opened it, she saw a maid standing there. The maid had her hands folded neatly in front of her. She looked calm and polite like all the others who worked in this mansion.
“Good morning, Miss Chloe,” the maid said with a small bow.
“Good morning,” Chloe replied, tilting her head slightly. “Is there something you need?”
The maid smiled. “The boss sent me to tell you that you should get ready. There will be a visitor later today.”
“A visitor?” Chloe asked, frowning a little.
“Yes, Miss Chloe. Mr. Oscar will be coming.”
Chloe nodded slowly.
“Oscar?” she repeated.
“Yes, Miss Chloe,” the maid confirmed. “He will be here in a few hours.”
