Chapter 8 Lucius's Memory
“In my opinion Mr. Byrne is safe and sound. May be he is still looking for the exit of the bar where he got drunk last night” said my mother while preparing for ourescape.
She had never liked Sarah's father, and it got worse after something he did that had affected her work. She hadn't forgiven him and was still angry. Well, she is not one to be crossed and she can hold a grudge forever.
She has a bad temper she is very proud of and she makes an open display of it. She claims it's effective for keeping idiots at bay.
“This time you are wrong” I said, unconvinced.
“...and you say they cannot find him. Mmh...it simply means he doesn't want to be found.”
“Or, perhaps, he is unable to communicate” I said again ”they had lost his coordinates north of Providence
