Chapter 57 : Sirena V   -Scarlett-             ‘By the light of the night, the purest is the heart. Just within the reach of the sight, the sea falls apart… When lowly is the light, the purest heart shines bright. Keep your eyes wide open, let not the moment be stolen. For those who seek the truth, will find beyond the vast ocean, forsooth’             That’s the total length of the riddle, though it got more words in it, I feel like I’m starting to get it than it was a while ago. Screw that NPC who keeps on pausing despite not finishing to tell us the whole information. What if we didn’t ask him, right? Then we’d be stuck here forever not knowing what it means…             “So that first line, ‘By the light of the night’ literally means night… you say?” Avery asked me as I have explained it to him a while ago. Well, I just thought so “I also thought about it too, but the next line kinda made it complicated, ‘the purest is the heart’, but the fifth and sixth line goes with it, so I think you’re right” he continued as if he’s deeply thinking about it.             “It says by the light of the night, the purest is the heart… we’re looking for where the heart of the sea is located right? Just as the four lines say, same with people… the darkest our times, that’s the time where we truly see ourselves not having anything that blinds us, the purest our hearts are… you understand?” I said explaining to him             “I agree, so you’re saying that the heart of the sea shines at night… making us able to see it that time” Avery summed up what I have explained to him. That’s what I initially upon repeating it inside my head. All the ‘dark’ and the ‘night’ that is included in there tells me so.             The poem isn’t that difficult to understand though, the pressure just made him unable to think clearly.             “Just within the reach of sight, the sea falls apart… what does that mean? It says just within the reach of sight, does it literally means that we can just see it everywhere?” he said as he stared at the sea, specifically where the sun is.             “Maybe…” I answered him which made him look at me “What? It says just within the reach of sight, we’re in the sea and we’re looking for the heart of the sea, so wherever it is, it’s just where we can see it… right?” I explained as to why I answered him maybe, I don’t wanna say yes because I’m not that sure, yet I don’t wanna say no either.                “Sometimes, poems like this doesn’t need to be thought deeply… too much, you know. Because they usually deceive us, we often thought of it the hard way, when in fact the author didn’t even thought of it meaningfully, sometimes they also thought of it literally ahahahaha” I added             “We just have to understand the whole meaning, not the meaning of each sentence, but the whole when all sentences are totaled…” I continued             “You’re right… so it really says that the heart of the sea shines bright at night to where we can see it, so the next line must be saying that we have to keep an eye so that we won’t miss it, right?” he said confirming it to me… well, I haven’t thought of that ahahaha ‘Keep your eyes wide open, let not the moment be stolen’ he’s right though             “Yea” I shortly answered             “For those who seek the truth, will find beyond the vast ocean, forsooth” he stated the last line “Well, without thinking too much, I must say it means that if we find it, we’ll find it ahahahaha despite how big this sea is… we’ll surely find it” he said explaining to me what the last line meant             “What’s forsooth, anyway?” I asked. Really, I don’t know that word ahahaha it’s the first time I heard it             “Indeed, it means indeed” he shortly answered             “Oh, indeed, we’ll find it… the developer must have searched for that word just to rhyme with truth ahahaha” I commented bringing it up             “Yea, good thing I read that in a dictionary… forsooth, if not, then we’d go crazy as to what that meant” he said as he started laughing with me             “Wait. So, let me have a recap, the heart of the sea will shine in the dark night where we can see it, we have to keep our eyes open so that we won’t miss it… despite how big the ocean is, we’ll surely find it, am I right?” I said repeating what he told me a while ago             “Yea… let’s see if that works… we have to wait until it gets dark, they would surely come back at that time too, sea eels were told to be rare” he said as he sat on the floor along the railings and watched the sun. It’s still afternoon, specifically 2, I looked at my watch. Few hours more and the heart of the sea will shine brightly.
