Keith decided to brush it all off and focus on getting hold of Delaney and make sure she was ok!
Delaney couldn’t believe what she was hearing. So her family knew this whole time, and let her Mother make her think this was all in her head? Delaney we couldn’t say anything, because your mother thought we were all crazy! She doesn’t believe in any of this. Anything we do is evil, she didn’t want that for you. She felt she was protecting you. Grams I love you, but it’s just a lot for me take in! Well first off, we’re taking you off all the meds your Mother has you on! You can’t run from who you are, and your gifts are only going to get stronger! The more you’re around this boy, or should I say man, the more you’re powers or gifts will be coming in. Am I a medium like you Grams? No Dear you’re much stronger than that! Together when you’re ready you and Keith’s powers will help a lot of people! To find your twin flame is very rare! Most people never meet the other half of their soul! An it’s hard work to stay together with them in the 3D! What’s the 3D? Delaney the 3D world is what you see and have been programmed your whole life to see. You’re told what to believe an what to think from the moment you’re born! The 5D is the connection you’ve had with Keith since you were born! The dreams, the telepathy, the pretending he’s your imaginary friend. All of that, that’s the 5D! You never stopped connecting with him in the 5D, but because of the meds your Mom has you on, you don’t remember what you were dreaming. An the telepathy isn’t always there, because you’ve tried to convince yourself it’s not there, or it’s just normal for you to hear voices. Only now you know it’s not in your head, all of this is real. So the 3D is what I’ve been taught, but the 5D is what I can see an feel, that others can’t? Yes, but to someone like your mom who was taught that your gifts are evil, and wrong they need to go away. What others don’t know about it scares them! The unknown the things that go bump in the night. The monster under your bed, or shadow standing over your bed is all real, but you’re programmed to think it’s not real! So you begin to tell yourself it’s not real. An those gut feelings you have, you listen to them, an yet, you tell yourself that you’re just being crazy an overthinking things. Delaney was deep in thought, when she heard I miss you, an pictured Keith sitting on a couch in a room she’d never seen before. She told herself she wasn’t going crazy. It was all a lot to take in. She told her Grams she was ready to go back to her room an lay down. Delaney you need to look at the book. Tonight on the full moon of your 18 1/2 birthday your powers will fully come in. You can’t run from them, they make you who you are. Throw the pills out you’ve been taking, and embrace who you are! Keith moving back is a sign for you, that you’re not crazy, and just how special you really are. Grams I’m tired, can we go over this tonight? Well of course, your Father an I have a special evening planned for you!
I walked away from the garden an up the stairs to my room. My room was not like most teenage girls. Posters didn’t cover my walls, and I didn’t have clothes all over my floor. Purple and silver wallpaper covered my walls with lilac roses intertwining with the silver vines. I had a day bed with purple bedspread and lilac curtains. A lilac shag rug by the foot of my bed. I had a huge wooden dresser with tons of books! I loved my books, maybe because I was always searching for answers. Who I was, and why I felt an saw what I did. For years the shrinks had tried to convince me I was crazy! I didn’t hear or see anything! It was all my imagination. An I tried to convince myself they were right, but my Dad an Grams always told me they were wrong an people were scared of the unknown. Few minutes later I got into my dark plum satin sheets an had put on some baby doll pjs. I stared at my walk in closet and decided to grab my old Teddybear. His name was Keith, and I always felt protected when he was around. I drifted off to sleep, an woke to a ghost like figure standing over me. It was just a glimpse, but it looked like Keith watching me sleep. I shook my head an closed my eyes again. I started to dream. In my dream I was a princess and I was sneaking off to meet the stable boy. He always took care of my horses and made sure they were saddled an ready for me to ride. I was engaged to the Duke of Eddenbury. I didn’t love him and he was a lot older than me. I was in love with Lance a very handsome not. He was 19, and had dandy blonde hair, piercing ocean green blue eyes and a smile you could die for! He was very tall almost 6’6. He was strong and picked me up with one hand. Oh Elizebeth how I love you so. I wish we could be together. Elizebeth thought about it, and shook her head. Lance if my family ever found out about us, they would run you out of town, or worse kill you! I want to run away with you Elizebeth! We will run deep into the woods, and take a ship to America! Nobody will ever find us! We can change our names and live happy and free! With what money Lance? You work for my family and get free room and board. They pay for your schooling, and you are not of noble blood. You have nothing to offer me, and we would never survive on our own! You could sell your jewelry to pay for our tickets on the ship to America! I can find a job there and nobody will ever bother us again my love! Elizebeth started to cry, if only it were that simple. She couldn’t leave her family and all of this behind! She loved Lance, but she knew it would never work. The servebts would catch her packing and repeat it to her parents. It was hard enough bribing Avery to keep her mouth shut, when she snuck out to meet Lance. Avery loved pretty things, so once a month Elizebeth would have a new dress from Paris sent to their London home. Avery would wear them when she went to the market to pick up the food and the flowers, hoping to catch a man’s eye. She had many suitors, but none of them had the money Avery was dying to marry into. Avery’s mother had died when she was very young. Elizebeths mother had been friends with her mother, an vowed she would take care of her, on her mothers death bed. Elizebeths mother could barely take care of Elizabeth, let alone another girl. So Avery was to earn her keep in the kitchen during the day with the help, and once a month got to go to the market with Betty. She was to attend the school for girls at night and keep out of trouble. Her mother had set it up that she attend a night, but Elizabeth never knew why. She too attended the school with Avery at night. She was thinking about all of this, when Lance said Elizabeth are you listening to me?! I have some money saved up, we have enough to get our own apartment in Boston, and I’ve got friends over there. We could live above the saloon and you could be a dancer and singer, while I fight at night to earn money. During the day I can work as a black smith with my friends Uncle. Nobody would give us a second glance or wonder where we came from. We could be happy! You don’t need all of this, all we need is our love and each other.
Delaney woke up in a sweat, she often dreamed of herself in other times. This was one of the dreams she had a lot in the last two weeks. She wondered what it all meant? She would ask her Grams tonight. When Delaney looked down she saw a locket on her bed stand. It was silver and had an engraving on it. It said to my Dear Great Granddaughter, Delaney on your 18 1/2 birthday, always remember who you are! You are the daughter born on the night of the silvery full moon. You are the child of great power! You hold the power to change the world little one, now believe it!
Delaney held the locket in her hand and opened it, she felt it vibrate. Inside were two old pictures. They were of the two people in her dream. She now recognized herself and Keith, only their names were Elizabeth and Lance. How could that be? What did this mean? Delaney put the locket on and walked down the steps to the kitchen. It smelt so good. Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, and English trifle! Her favorite! Her father said better wash up for dinner, we’ve got lots of surprises for you. Delaney notice a few extra spots with silverware settings at the table. She wondered what that meant? Delaney walked to the bathroom an bumped into someone an instantly felt shocks of electricity run through her and her heart started to race. She smelt this smell of soap and cedar wood and spices. She looked up and it was Keith! What are you doing here she asked? Well when you didn’t come back to school I asked your friend Ebony if I could have your address and phone number. She didn’t even hesitate an gave it right to me. I talked to your Grandmother on the phone, and she invited me over for your birthday surprise. It’s funny my family celebrated my 18 1/2 birthday on the full moon last week!. Oh I’m surprised alright! What about Stacey? Well I told her I had to study at your house tonight for a big exam of what we remember from last year. An that I really needed to ace the exam an you’re my partner for studying. An she said okay and hung up. I gave him a look, like why didn’t you just tell her the truth and break up with her? He heard my thoughts and answered me back inside my head, while he looked into my eyes. Delaney this is all new to me. What was I going to say? I ran into a girl I’ve dreamt about since I can first remember? That I dream of lives I’ve had with her that are from a time I don’t even know? That I think I love her? That we can talk to each other even when we’re not around each other? That somehow I find myself thinking of her an I’m in her room watching her sleep, and I don’t even know who she is? Yet my soul knows her? I mean does that sound like something I should say, because I can! I just shook my head, pushed him out of the way, and ran into the bathroom an slammed the door. Keith knew I needed space, and walked back to the kitchen. I started to cry, I felt everything he was saying, and I knew what he was saying was true, but I still felt like I was going crazy! An yet my dad acted like this was all normal?
I collected my thoughts and threw water on my face. Smoothed out my sundress I had slipped on, and walked out of the bathroom. Who were the other spots for at the table? Delaney took a breath and walked into the kitchen. Her mother had left and as at her book group with the ladies from church. Dad was busy chopping up veggies and making dill dip. Another one of my favorites. Gram was making cream cheese salmon rolls another of my favorites. Gram why are there extra places at the table? Who are those for? Your second cousin from Ireland is here and your Great Great Aunt and Uncle. They have some things for you from your Great Grandma and Grandpa for your special day! That definitely got my attention. Uncle Marcus and Aunt Edna sat at the table looking off into space. Uncle Marcus was tall an slender. He was handsome for his age and had a dark black and silver mustache. His eyes looked huge in his paper thin skin an he had a scar above his left eye. He was smoking a pipe an staring at the wall. Aunt Edna was a tall woman with a huge chest. She was very beautiful for being in her 80s maybe 90s I wasn’t sure. She had long white hair that hung in curls at her waist. She looked like an older version or Goldie Hawn. She was looking at me now an smiled. My cousin Delia was staring at me. She was pretty about 5’6 and beautiful red hair and blue eyes. She definitely looked Irish. She was about 25 years old, and her parents had died in a car crash when she was 12. She moved to Ireland when she was 13 after living with us for a year. It was agreed in the will her parents had left, that she would live in Ireland with her Great Grandparents. She seemed happy, and they had a lot of money. She dressed like a gypsy, with a scarf on her head and lots of jewelry. She had on more anklets and toe rings than I’d ever seen in my life. One on every toe even her big toe. Her nails were painted bright red and her lips were blood red. She had on dark painted on eye liner and baby blue eyeshadow. Her dress was red and hung to the floor. She wore rings on every finger an a locket like mine around her neck with many crystal necklaces. She had many brackets and a Celtic knot tattoo on her arm. It had two hearts and an infinity through it. It was unlike anything Delany had ever seen. Delia smiled at her an asked if she had gotten her locket yet? She gave her a look an said yes how’d you know. It’s my job to know everything with this family. I will be in charge of it one day. My Nan shows me all of our past and our future. I see you’ve found your soulmate you always talked about? Delaney looked over and saw Keith walk in the room. He sat next to Delaney at the table, setting his cloth napkin in his lap. She noticed Keith had changed his clothes and was now wearing a black suit with a red rose on it. Delaney there’s a dress for you on your bed, if you’d like to go put it on. Your Aunt Edna brought it from Ireland. Delaney excused herself and ran to her room. On her bed was a beautiful lace red flowing dress with satin roses all over it. It had a blinking neckline and a skit up to her thigh. On her bed was a belt that was to be worn at her hips with two silver daggers that were strapped in that would fit at her thighs. On her dresser was a tube of red lipstick and black paint that said it was eye liner and mascara. She had a tube of red nail polish next to it. An long flowing dangling earrings that looked like the ones her great grandmother wore when she did readings. There was also a scarf that was black with roses on it to tie on her head. An her own toe rings and other crystals to go through that she could wear that were all hand made. They all looked very old and some said Elizabeth on them. She noticed there was a small metal chest that said Lance on it that was locked and a note next to it. Dear Delaney, when the clock strikes mid night tonight you will remember who you are. You have held this curse for many lives, and I hope that you can break it. In this chest is a letter an a picture of your life with Lance. He wrote you on the night before he died! You must learn from your mistakes in this life. Do not let your powers take over and never ever do anything with your powers out of anger. With great power comes great responsibility. Don’t let your family keep you both apart, choose to hear your heart calling out for one another. Together you will move mountains and change peoples lives. I love you my child, I have seen visions of the good things you will do. Do not be afraid, stand strong an help each other heal and grow. Your mother will never understand who an what you are, but maybe one day you can show her? Your father is very gifted and he will help show you the way. You will feel the power in your blood, and your ancestors will join you at midnight. I look forward to meeting you an talking with you tonight. There is much to see and learn, and your Aunt and Uncle will help guide you for as long as you need them. Once you touch your other half there is no going back. You will not be able to fully resist the pull he has on you or you him. You can try an run from it, but you are fated to always return to each other. If not in this life you will repeat again in another.
Delaney put the letter down an got ready. When she was entered the room Keith was making her plate. An Delia was flirting with him. She didn’t blame her he was very alluring. Delia looked up at her cousin and blushed. It wasn’t everyday she was in the presence of such a beautiful young man. An she loves his accent. It was different from the Irishmen she had met. An he was different. He smelt different! She knew he was of an old bloodline and she could tell that he had powers. He hid them very well though and she couldn’t read him. It was if he had bricks up in his mind. He looked at her as if he knew she was trying to open up his mind. She smiled and told him you’re a cheeky bastard aren’t you? He raised an eye brow at her and said am I? She said ou don’t okay coy with me sir you hide your thoughts very well, but I know that you’re a very powerful man and I’m curious what your gifts are? Keith chuckled, I’m sure you’d love to get in my head, but I don’t let just anyone in there. I hope you understand that? She tilted her head to the side and said for now. He pulled Delaneys chair out so she could sit next to him. How had he known what she wanted to eat. He read her mind and smiled and said I knew this was what you’d like? How she said? I know you better than I know myself, and I hope one day you’ll know me just as well. Delaney was confused at that answer, but he brushed her hand with his ever so lightly and her whole body trembled. Oh my Delaney what you do to me she heard him say inside her head. You make my heart race and my body craves you all of you as if you were my air to breath. Delia tilted her head and eyed him suspiciously. What was he thinking? The look on his face kind of made her a little jealous. She hadn’t found her soulmate yet, but she get him. Her Nan had assured her that she had met him, she just wasn’t ready for the connection yet. An that she was to work on herself. Delia asked if she could be excused for a moment. Delaney watched her cousin leave the room her eyes still on Keith. She grabbed Keith’s hand and jolts of electricity flew through her whole body. She looked at the clock and it was only 8pm. Keith smiled at her an in his head said oh the things I will do to you! Delaneys mind was racing. An just the thought of him touching her made her feel light headed. Now now you two her Auntie said plenty time to catch up later. Let the ceremony begin.grabbed hands in a circle around the table and her Auntie and Gram said 18 years on this full moon night let her powers come in and hold her tight my ancestors and guide her and protect her making her strong and bright. Keith didn’t even bat an eye lash and Delia didn’t even make a sound when she came in. There was a flash of light around Delaney and she felt vibrations head to toe as the words were chanted. Delaney couldn’t move she felt like all her ancestors were coming in and out of the room giving her their powers and gifts. She felt like she was stronger than she had ever been!
