"What are you sorry about?" I asked, my gaze fixed on him as he staggered backwards. Something is definitely off with him, I think, and I know for sure he is hiding something from me.
"Alex... what happened?" I asked, staring at him as he continued to stagger backwards. I would have yelled at him and perhaps forced him to say something at the moment, but that isn't the most important thing to me right now.
The most important thing is for Tendra to get better and out of this space immediately.
My phone soon began to ring, and I checked the caller only to see Sheba as the caller, sighing deeply while staring at the phone.
