Natasha Astrid’s POV
We were only supposed to buy eggplant there at the grocery store, but our cart was already full because of the things I impulsively picked up inside the store.
“Should I buy this too?” I asked while looking at the soy drink I was holding.
“Put it here, baby,” Jacob said.
I nodded and placed it in the cart. Jacob was pushing our cart while I was the one choosing the items to buy. I was buying not just for myself, but also for the cat.
“This seems okay now,” I said, and approached Jacob.
I held onto his arm while his hands were on the cart. I still wanted to buy more, but I didn't have any money.
“I'll just pay you back when we get home. I bought too much.”
“You don’t need to,” he immediately replied.
He kissed my forehead and pushed the cart towards the cashier
