"Have a safe trip."
The days really flew by because they were leaving already. Jacob's family didn't stay long at our house, so Jessica was also leaving. My head still hurt, but I got up to say goodbye because it would be embarrassing not to, in front of his parents.
I drank too much last night, so the effect was quite strong. I was still very dizzy, but I wanted to say goodbye, so I forced myself to get up. It would be embarrassing to Jacob's parents if I were asleep and didn't even say goodbye!
"Thank you, dear." Aunt Estella kissed my cheek and Jessica's, too. "Take care of yourself as well, and call me if you ever get tired of my son. I'll be the one to kick him out of your house. If you ever get annoyed with his jealousy, call me."
