"Where are you, Jessica?" I asked my friend on the other line as I carefully took every step inside her condo unit.
I knew the pass code of her unit, so I could get into her unit even when she was not there. I was going to surprise Jessica today so that I could get revenge for the surprise breakfast she made me have with her brother, which wasn't funny, but I guess I was the one who got surprised today.
Jessica was not there now and her condo seemed to have been empty for days because it was spotless.
