Leonardo's POV: In my fourth year overseas, winter came earlier than it ever had back home. The branch office had just locked down its annual report, so I sat in front of a screen full of numbers and waited for the sun to come up on the other side of the ocean. Four years added up to more than fourteen hundred days. I had turned my life into a balance sheet, with meetings all day and files all night and four hours of sleep wedged in between.
