"Bang!!"
A wooden beam landed where Natalie was just standing. If Isabelle hadn’t pushed Natalie aside, Natalie couldn’t imagine what would have happened.
But in exchange, Isabelle’s foot was pinned by the beam.
Isabelle’s expression turned frantic as her voice cracked, "Help me!"
The nearby safety officer was also stunned. How could such an accident happen? He rushed forward to pull Isabelle out.
But his attempts seemed futile. Isabelle’s foot was firmly pinned, and he couldn’t pull it out.
The fire suddenly grew larger, and smoke spread throughout the small room.
Natalie decisively told the safety officer, "Go outside and get someone to help!"
Natalie crouched beside Isabelle, trying to move the beam, but with her strength, she couldn’t budge it.
