T he bright sun was beginning to seep between the leaves of the trees where the tree dwellers were starting to wake from their uncomfortable night’s sleep. Kat jumped out of her tree-bed and began walking around to get kinks out from sleeping in a weird position in a tree all night. She was promising herself to never climb a tree ever again in this lifetime. Others were starting to get out of their tree. Some jumped while others climbed out. The older ones sat and watched as Carbo jumped out of her perch like a seasoned gymnast and landed on her feet. Lila laughed as she watched Carbo getting out of her night-night tree. “I could do that if all my muscles weren’t stiff, and I seem to be stuck. Carbo went to Lila’s rescue.
