unt Hazel was still at the home of Duffy and Sophie. She was beginning to like these people a lot. Hazel was amazed at the house where they lived. Sophie did a great job decorating the tall house. What she found amazing was how tall the ceilings were, but she figured if one was a giant, they would need the ceilings to be tall.
Sophie taught Miss Hazel to make Irish stew, and Hazel taught Sophie how to make biscuits and blueberry cobbler. They watched each other and made notes in case they forget.
Hazel watched in surprise as most of the huge pans of biscuits were eaten by Duffy. She also watched as he ate the blueberry cobbler with a vengeance. Hazel and Sophie were glad they got a biscuit and a serving of pie before Duffy came in the room. She supposed a giant had an enormous stomach
