H azel finally made her way to the fork in the trail. This time she went to the left instead of the right. She thought she was becoming somewhat familiar with some of these trails. She walked for a while after taking her time to look at more of the country. There weren’t too many houses on this trail. She saw two houses on the left side of the trail. She didn’t think she would bother those people in the houses. A man came out of the second house. He started hollering at Aunt Hazel to get off his property. “I’m sorry, mister. I didn’t mean to bother you. I promise I won’t do it again.” Hazel said with a big smile. She didn’t know what made him so hateful. There was no excuse to be mean to people.
