Lucretia starts training with a sword and shield as soon as her shoulder heals enough for her to hold her shield. Briana pushes Lucretia and Letitia harder than she has ever pushed them before. They will both have fights in Rome, and although the plan is to escape before Lucretia has to fight Celeste in a death match, Briana does not want to take any chances. The editor may have her fight another gladiatrix before they are ready to escape. She also works extremely hard on her own skills. Although she is not sure yet whether she will have a fight, she wants to be ready should they pit one of Rome’s best fighters, maybe even their champion gladiatrix, against her.
