Alyssa mused who the surprise guest might be but she didn’t have long to wonder.
She was pleasantly surprised when Erica opened the door to Lana’s master bedroom and she ran into 13-year- old Janet. But this Janet was vastly different from the little girl she’d seen 6 years ago. 13-year-old Janet looked more like a 16 year old. Alyssa did a double take as Janet hugged her.
“You hit a growth spurt all right,” Alyssa said with a laugh.
Janet was already 5’6 and her long black hair hung down to her butt. All the baby fat had melted away to show a perfectly heart-shaped face and startlingly sapphire blue eyes. Janet shrugged nonchalantly and smiled, her cheeks dimpling. She looked like she belonged in a TV commercial.
“How have you been Alyssa? It’s been forever,” Janet said cheerfully
