Alyss had a fabulous night meeting new faces and even some old ones. The elders of her pack welcomed her warmly, happy that one of their own was the Luna. All of them had always adored her and were very vocal about how no one else could have ever made a better Luna.
Dr. Alani was also present for the ceremony and kissed both Alyssa’s cheeks as congratulations when they met during the reception.
“I’m so happy to see you happy,” Dr. Alani gushed, her eyes misty. “Your mother would have been happy too,” Dr. Alani added.
Alyssa looked at Dr. Alani gratefully. She was one of the few people who had remembered her mother today. Alyssa had missed her mother terribly and couldn't help but feel that everything would have been just perfect if only her mother had been alive today.
