Chapter 16Monday morning, Police Headquarters, Houston, Texas Calls had been pouring in since last night's news broadcast. Detectives Brian Castle and Alan Blake had spent the morning fielding the calls. Most of them were from people attending the convention who reported seeing Georgia there, in a restaurant, a*****e or walking on the street, but all were incidents that occurred before the woman had gone missing. It was a time consuming job and a waste of precious time, but nonetheless a necessity. Every call had to be followed up. One never knew if the next lead would be the one to blow the case wide open. Then there was the media frenzy. Once again Georgia Charles-Dixon was news. The police chief was holding a news conference in about an hour to deal with them. Sarah poked her head in.
