Luna's POV
It was early the next morning when Lucas called me. I had just finished my first class of the day, and was happy to see his name flash on my caller I.D.
“Hi." I said, sweetly.
“Hello." He replied. “How's your day?"
“Well, it's only just begun, but it's going well." I said, giggling.
“Right." He said, embarrassed. “I suppose it's only morning."
“It's okay." I said. “It's still nice to hear from you."
This was the first time Lucas had called me just to check on me. I was pleasantly surprised by his efforts, and it made me feel secure.
“Good." Lucas laughed. “I like hearing your voice."
I blushed but said nothing.
“So what's on your agenda for the day?" He asked.
“I have four more classes, and then after work I'm supposed to meet with Maria for a working meeting."
