Luna's POV
I made it to the institute around seven-thirty in the morning. When I walked into my classroom, Lucas was already inside talking to Elena, a colleague of mine.
“Good morning." I said, surprised to see the two of them together.
“Good morning." They said in unison.
“I just came by to borrow your eraser." Elena said, rising from her seat next to Lucas.
“No problem." I said, cordially.
Elena quickly left the classroom with a suspicious look on her face. Lucas' body language was different. He seemed uncomfortable, like he didn't want to be here. I immediately became insecure.
We had the most magical kiss last night. What if he was regretting it? My stomach churned in knots, but I tried my best to play it cool.
