I was up before anyone else in the house was. I was going to see if Crystal was waiting by the seashore with little Rafe. I had to see my little baby. I could not sleep another moment until I knew if he was going to be alright without me.

I made a pot of coffee without waking my cousin who was sleeping on the sofa couch. Someone touches my shoulder nearly making me drop my coffee cup to the floor's surface.

"Syd what are you doing up so early?" Finn yawn's as he pulls me into his arms for a hug.

"Going to see Rafe and Crystal" I tell him.

"This early?" laughs Finn. I nod.

"Babies need to be fed. I can at least learn how to take care of my baby. Even if he is a merbaby" I sigh.

"You are going to be such a wonderful mother" Finn says as he kisses me.

"Think you can try to meet with your father today? See if Rafe can be with us some way?" I worry. Finn nods.

"That is in my agenda book" Finn explains.

"Would you like some coffee?" I offer Finn a mug.

"No thanks. I still do not care for that stuff" laughs Finn.

"It will grow on you" I tell him.

"I do not think so" he chuckles. I go get my hoodie on because the winds could be a bit chilly by the sea around this time of year.

"Wait up Syd. I am going to come with you" Finn declares.

"Alright" I say. He kisses me as he rushes back in our room to change his clothing. I could not wait to marry that man. Then we would really be a couple. I wish Rafe had been born after the wedding. But that was out of our hands. Finn soon came back out ready to go. He slips his shoes on.

"You think I would be used to feet by now" grumbles Finn as he struggles to tie his shoes.

I giggle at that. I come over after I set down my coffee cup. I lean down and help him tie his shoes. He looks down at me and smiles. Then helps me off the floor.

"Thanks" he tells me.

"Any time" I say with a grin. "Let's go see our little boy" I say. He takes his hand into mine. Then we head off to the beach. Finn leaves the porch light on for us for when we came back. He grabs a flash light to walk down by the dark beaches. The sun had not yet come out. Not yet.

"Good thinking" I tell him.

He nods. He holds my hand as we walk down to the beach. He shines the light into the waters.

"Crystal? Crystal? Hudson are you around?" I call out hoping to get to see my son.

No answer. Nothing yet anyway.

"Syd! Finn! Over here! This little guy would not stop fussing! I was hoping you would be here early!" I hear Crystal call out to us. I grin over at Finn as we make our way over to her.

"What is going on?" Finn asks her.

"See for yourself" Crystal tells us happily. Finn shines a light down on Crystal and little Rafe. I gasp. He had legs! My baby grew legs!! He kicks his little toes happily in the water as he coos.

"May I take him?" I ask her. She nods as she hands the baby over to me.

"How? When?" I laugh. I hold my little wet baby in my arms. Rafe could be with me! I plant little kisses on his cheeks. Finn removes his shirt so I could wrap little Rafe in it for now. So Rafe would not get chilly.

"I don't know. I came up here this morning with Rafe. He grew legs just like Finn had!" laughs Crystal.

"I know what happened" mentions Finn with a smile.

"You do? Tell us!" I demand to Finn.

"The true love spell" says Finn. "You love Rafe. He loves you. He turned human to. Just like I was able to!"

"Oh! That means we do not have to ask your father!" I giggle as I hug Rafe close to me.

"No need for that" we hear someone say. I look to see Hortez there. He smiles. "I was not going to keep a son from his mother. Rafe needs his parents"

"Thank you father" Finn says gratefully. Happy tears come to me.

"Thank you sir" I say to him.

"You are welcome future daughter-in-law" he replies before heading back into the waters.

"Finn this is so wonderful!" I laugh with joy.

"If you do not mind me leaving, I need a nap. That one will not sleep when he was supposed to" laughs Crystal as she yawns.

"Go ahead Crystal. You earned it" jokes Finn. She waves good-bye to us before heading back into the waters below.

"This is amazing. Simply amazing" I sigh happily as I hold my baby close. Happy tears come over me. Finn hugs my side.

"You two are meant to be" he jokes.

"Finn, we need baby things. A bed, bottles, diapers. Clothing! We have nothing!" I gasp with worry.

"Come on. Let's go shopping! I did get paid early" he reminds me.

"Finn you are the best. I will go ask Gram if I can take her car into town" I tell him. We head back into the house. Mother was awake. Gram was already too.

"What is going on? The baby needs to be in the water" worries Gram as she rushes to us. She looks down at Rafe. "Oh my!" she laughs once she sees he has legs. Mother comes over to us.

"Rafe is one of us?" she laughs. I nod.

"We need to go shopping. We have nothing here for Rafe" I worry.

"Wait here a second. When we found Rafe was going to be a merbaby I did not have the shower for you. But I had bought you baby items. I did not show you when Rafe was born because I did not want to upset you about him not being able to be with you" mother rambles on as she rushes into her bedroom. I smile.

"I was buying things for the baby when I found out you were having a baby as well" gram admits sheepishly. I smile. She heads into her room. She and my mother come out with a load of baby items! A car seat! Diapers! Clothing! You name it they bought it!

"Oh wow!" Finn laughs.

"This baby will be set for life!" jokes mother.

"Can I hold him? I could not before" asks gram hopefully. "I know you just got him back..."

"No! Go ahead! Here gram!" I tell her. I hand Rafe over to her.

"You are a beautiful baby boy! Look at you! He has your eyes Finn" gram mentions as she holds Rafe in her embrace.

"You think so?" asks Finn.

"I know so" says gram as she smiles.

"I think you are right mother. He has Syd's smile and his father's eyes" says mother thoughtfully.

"I will look for a warm outfit for him to wear" I say as I look through what my family had bought me.

"What is going on?" yawns my cousin as she looks up from the sofa.

"The baby turned human! Your little cousin is with us!" brags gram happily. Riley nods.

"That is wonderful news" she yawns before rolling back over on the couch to nap. I laugh.

"This wedding is now ready to go. We have everything we need" Finn declares with joy. He pulls me in his arms and kisses me.

"I am ready for our family to be a real family" I agree with him.

All we needed to be was to wed! And find our dream home!
