Lionel looked at the guests sitting on his small dinner table, and he couldn't believe what had happened. He took a look at his daughter, who seemed nothing more than a shell of who she was. standing across the hall behind her was Kathleen, the servant girl who still had bandages from the torture she had endured trying to protect his daughter.
