The next day, their last lesson was ‘Self-defense.’ The room for the lesson was prepared specially. It was a massive room, with many smaller glass sections and mats to cover the floor.
“Alright, we will have a sudden test today! All of you have been given a paper with a number on it corresponding to a section. Meet your partner and fight until one of you gives up!” Mr.Wright shouted with his chest puffed as usual.
Opening their papers, Naomi and Lisa found out they were not paired up. Maybe it was a good thing. She could now practice fighting a new enemy. She knew little about the other students’ power, after all. After waiting for a bit in her section, Naomi found out she was paired with a boy with short dark hair.
