How Dogs Talk

Great! Your new dog is going to be the best thing to ever hapoen to you!

But how do we talk better to our dogs?

Simple! Simply! Use less words. Slow down your words. remeber your dog is smart but needs time to connect the words to things! When you say Do you want to go outside? We know what all those words mean individually because we went to school. But your new dog didnt so lets see how we should talk.

using less words helps your dog build a vocabulary to better understand meanings of words.

great! now your dog understands and went to the door to ask to be let out!

thats tour dog testing you to see if you are listening when he talks! that's right! your dog is now talking to you! it is important you respond swiftly and get up and take the dog out on a walk.

you have built your first import bond with your dog. listening to each other.

now remeber your dog will remeber that you were listening and wants to know how much. People dont have great listening skills so its important to to watch and listen to what your new dog does.

Does he A : starts chewing on things?

he is bored and wants to play

make sure to ask lots of questions and give your dogs a few minutes to walk over and show you what he is asking

be patient because he has to figure out what to do to ask and sometimes the words dont match the action because dogs dont know the meaning of things.

most of the times dogs are asking what something is or what it does.

if your dog is afraid of a vacumm he needs to see you touch it when it's off and not scary to see it's just a thing and doesn't hurt him. helping our dogs not be scared of every object in our house and explaining what the objects are and for helps our dogs better communicate with us.
