After the conversation, Jacob took Scarlett to the cage just inside the compound of the pack house.
"Be patient and don't do anything stupid... Okay?" Jacob strictly instructed as he opened the cell. Since Scarlett is only a suspect, she is not taken to a jail where the criminals are.
"I never imagined myself in jail!" Scarlett retorted in dismay. She thought today— they would celebrate, since her problem in her inner self is solved, but it turns out she has entered another problem without her knowing.
"Want me to join you here?" Jacob retorted with a sneer. He is teasing her.
