Nelia had promised Aaron she wouldn’t bring up little Zayzay. She had promised herself not to bring up Zayzay. The very topic of him would ruin the entire day.

Before Nelia could speak, a majestic presence entered the room. A royal presence. No fear came with it, but it did instill immediate awe and reverence, much like entering the grand cathedral every Christmas and Easter. Nelia had only ever been permitted to sit in the balcony section, but from there she could see the elaborate ceiling and all the people below who paid more dues each year so they could sit closer.
