I felt calmer after Sonnia had left, with whom I was able to have a cordial dialogue about Ivania and what had driven me to help her. I had no doubt that I could trust the young woman, despite her being one of The Claw's special agents; by that point, there was nothing I could say that would compromise us more than we already were.
"I will try to convince the princess to accept her destiny," Sonnia said before leaving. "I know it won't be easy, but it's the best way to avoid the bloodbath that is about to unfold."
I agreed and watched her leave while I leaned my hands on the bars of the cell, feeling unable to do anything to remedy the situation. If it was true that Ivania had gone to Prince Emeric to confront her uncle, then all I could do was wait for Sonnia to succee
