It's time for me to tell my version of the story. Alessandro returned quite changed from the trip to China. That was what I feared the most and the fundamental reason why I didn't want him to travel with the human, with whom he now seems to be obsessed.
I knew he wasn't the same from the first day. He had come to my apartment alone to pretend he still felt the same way about me, but the moment I saw him, I could tell he no longer looked at me with the same sparkle in his eyes.
