With the most recent dream still pulsating in my head, I prepared for the first visit to Emeric's house. After what had been revealed to me, I was aware that my dreams were not mere fantasies but held significant implicit certainties, even being premonitory. I had dreamed of Alessandro and some members of his pack before their existence was revealed to me, and the same had happened with the legend of the dryad and the lycan prince. Now that I had dreamed of Alessandro's death and that strange red wolf, whom I couldn't identify, I was more than distressed. Had I, perhaps, dreamed of the imminent destruction of Alessandro and Valery? And who was that she-wolf I had seen with a silver collar, sandy fur, and the corpse of another wolf beside her? Were they all rhetorical figures, or real?
