The Beta I faced turned out to be quite tough, but still, her power was not comparable to mine, and I know that, if it hadn't been because my main concern was Ivania and avoiding any collateral damage to her, I would have subdued her in a few minutes. However, she had enough time to hold out until the reinforcements she so desperately needed arrived. They came in numbers I hadn't even considered possible, so despite Ivania incapacitating several of them, there were so many that I ultimately had to accept defeat. But after confirming that Ivania had managed to escape through the window and that she carried what we had come for around her neck.
