Derrick: Hi ** He nervously reply**

Vera: Hi, I'm veranda. Vera for short.

Derrick: okay?

Vera: I saw you on the court last night, you're good in the game.

Derrick: Thanks **He's face was stern, he can't wait for her to leave already**

Vera: would you like to hang out sometime?

Derrick: Uh, Vera look I really appreciate your confidence, your beautiful and I believe you're unique in your own way but no, I don't want any of that stuff.

**She was silent for about 5 seconds**

Vera: Do you have a girlfriend?

Derrick: Can you just let go already?

** Vera angrily went back to her sit, she couldn't believe she was rejected. Through out the class derrick has not been able to focus, one reason is Lilian and the other are the girls staring and blushing at him. He was so uncomfortable in class he took excuse from the teacher and went outside he really wish Lillian will accept him but he's not sure if is possible, as he was walking by he saw rachel in the school garden and he decide to talk to her**

Derrick: Hey Rachel.

Rachel: Oh derrick.

Derrick: I want to talk to you. Look I appreciate the fact you've been a good friend since day one, I'm sorry if what I said the other day hurt your feelings I'm deeply sorry but the truth is I don't feel the same way for you rachel. I don't want you to misunderstand me we can be friends but not lovers.

Rachel: Is it because of what I did to David? **with an almost teary voice**

Derrick: I don't know that guy personally, but what you did was bad and uncalled for.

Rachel: I'm sorry derrick ** She was reaching out her hands to touch him but he refused by putting down her hands**

Derrick: I'm not the one that needs the apology.

**Rachel was crying. Derrick feel bad for her but that is the truth he couldn't be with her**

Rachel: why did you kiss my sister?

Derrick: Cause I like her.

**It sounded like blow to rachel**

Rachel: May I ask why?

Derrick: I think I might take my leave now.

**He left Rachel in the garden and went to the basketball court to throw some shots a lot is on his mind now, he just needed to do something to shift his attention from thinking. Lillian was in class but her mind was far away, she was thinking about derrick. She couldn't get him of her mind it seems she has fallen for him, it was her first kiss and it was with someone so dreamy and handsome, when she could no longer cope with the class she quietly took permission from the teacher and left to the hostel to look for derrick, she was told he went for class but he wasn't in the classroom when she peeped through the window. She was frustrated and immediately remembered the basketball court and went there, derrick was busy throwing shots when he noticed Lillian was there he was shocked.

Derrick: Lillian, what are you doing here?

Lilian: I came to see you. Is it bad? **She said walking towards him**

Derrick: No, Is just that I'm surprised. I thought you wouldn't want anything to do...... **She pecked him on the lips and derrick couldn't hold back his emotions and kissed her, He was happy Lillian feel the same way for him**

Derrick: What about your sister?

Lilian: Don't worry about her.

**They continued kissing, unknowingly to them someone took pictures of them and post it on the school platform anonymously and tag them as the newest couples in queens island high school. The pictures quickly spread like fire**

Joshua was through with his lectures and was chatting with his friends**

Marshal: That derrick guy is something else. I heard he played for the national australian junior basketball team.

Joshua: I don't blame him, I blame bennett who made him think he was that good.

Marshal: Actually he's good.

Andre: Can you take on that guy one on one?

Joshua: I run the canadian basketball team here, he should maintain he's past glory in Australia.

Andre: You sound jealous.

Joshua: I'm not jealous.

**They where talking when nicole ran up to joshua with quick speed**

Nicole: Your sister is crying in the garden.

Joshua: My sister cry? Why? Which of them?

Nicole: It's rachel, and I don't know she's crying.

Joshua: Later guys **He went out with Nicole, he saw rachel in a lonely corner of the garden crying he asked nicole to leave which she did, she only went to the garden to get some fresh air and peace of mind only to find rachel cry there**

Joshua: Rachel what is it? Why are you crying? What going on between you and Lillian?

Rachel: Lilian deceive me.

Joshua: I don't understand, how can lillian deceive you?

Rachel: She stole my crush from me, she deceived me and snatched him behind my back.

Joshua: Wait? So all this is because of a man? Are you guys serious right now? Where's lilian? because I want to talk to her.

Rachel: I don't know where she is.

Joshua: You and Lillian are going crazy, and I'm going to knock senses into you both.

Rachel: Please bro, understand me. I like the guy first.

**Joshua received a text message from marshal telling him to check on the schools platform, he was hesitant at first but decide to do it and was shocked by what he saw it was Lillian kissing a guy not just any guy the same guy who defeated his team in a basketball match. He was so angry, rachel wandering what her brother was looking at took the phone from him and was speechless at what she saw for the second time Lilian and Derrick kissing each other. The news spread like wild fire all over queens high, the girls where angry and throwing mean comments against Lilian how come she always get the good ones? What's so special about this Lillian girl? Must she get all the good things just for attention? The boys are also throwing theirs against derrick So the australian d**k got lillian? I can't stand that dude, from basketball to Lillian wow. Dean Lincoln was upset with Lilian but he did not punished her, but ask her to keep her life more private next time and ordered for the post to be taken down but that did not stop the hateful comments against the young lovers. Joshua was upset he wished his parents are around he would have report to them concerning Lilian and Rachel beef over a man. He tried to step in but was shutdown by Lillian, Lillian was his elder sister same with annabel, he respected her but got insulted on how he lost his basketball match against derrick that arrive newly in Queens Island high school compared to him that had been schooling there for years. Lilian accept dating derrick not minding how rachel will feel, she goes out with him, they attend basketball matches together and even kissed in the basketball court after derrick shoot a ball from afar and it got into the net. Rachel was heartbroken and jealous towards Lillian, she thought lilian would obviously let go because of their sister bond but she was happily dating derrick and don't care about her feelings at all, it pained her so much that she vowed to make her regret ever dating derrick, soon she comes up with a plan. She walked over to the lunch table where lillian and derrick were eating and apologize**

Rachel: Derrick, Lillian, I'm so sorry. I over reacted and cause lots of unnecessary drama. Would you please forgive me?

Lilian: See babe, I told you not to worry she'll change.

Derrick: I'm not surprised my girl is very smart. **He loving feed her chips **

Lilian: Rachel is okay, I forgive you.

Derrick: No problems. Here. **He gave her potato chips and grape juice. They all chatted happily but Rachel has a plan behind**
