Chapter 14: Finale

Max and Felix went downstairs there they put on their

Shoes and jackets and went then outside there

Max took out the flashlight.

Felix took out also his flashlight and so they started to walk

After around 200 meters stopped Felix and said to Max:"

What when we also have to die cause we talked about the curse?"

Max turned around to his younger brother and answered:" We won't die Felix."

Felix breathed a sigh of relief and then said, "Okay, let's go on."

So both went on.

As both of them arrived at the wood said Max to Felix:" We go in."

But Felix was in doubt ans said:" I wouldn't do it I'm slowly afraid."

Max said then:" We want to rescue Grandpa from his doom or not?"

Felix gave then in and said:" Okay but I'm nevertheless in fear."

Max don't answered but went in the wood.

Felix stood there doubtful for a long time but then he ran

after Max and called after Max: "Hey, Wait!"

When Felix and Max arrived deep in the forest, the full moon emerged from behind the clouds

a sure sign that something will happen this night but what?

Max and Felix looked around the forest in the hope that they could find their grandfather somewhere

but apparently it didn't look that way.

Felix looked at Max and then said to him: "I'm getting goosebumps here."

Max didn't bother, but listened further into the silence.

But there wasn't a peep except owls and rustling leaves

Max turned around in disappointment and said to Felix: "Let's go

I think we tried for nothing."

So Max and Felix went out of the forest

disappointed that they couldn't find their grandfather.

But as Max and Felix were a few meters away from the forest,

they heard a shattering scream.

Max and Felix turned around immediately and ran after the scream

that was stretched.

Both dived over torn tree branches and under branches until they

finally arrived in a clearing there they saw the disaster.

Max and Felix dropped the jaw as they saw what was going on there

Both had never seen anything like this in their lives so incredibly indescribable

horrible that never existed before.

Their Grandpa kneeled on the ground while he fought with the curse

which threatened to break him and while the curse tried could they

again hear the curse that the 5 workers had spoken out:" Everyone who's going in and out from this house will feel fear and scare but will be silent about this here but if he breaks the silent he will be broken like a tree in a storm."

So it should happen a second time but the Grandpa from Max and Felix fought back with all of his resources and at some point the curse let off of the Grandfather.

But now something much worse happened. The curse floated up to Max and Felix and both of them froze like pillars of salt when they saw the curse floating up to them, Grandfather got up and spoke the following words:"Everyone who's going in and out from this house will not feel fear and scare and won't be silent about this here and if he breaks the silent he won't be broken like a tree in a storm."

The curse was screaming and then it vanished right before it could reach Max and Felix.

So the curse of the 5 workers was released and the house was never again haunted by the spirit of Mike's father.
