“What?” I asked Kaspen, worried.
“He won’t tell me what you are,” said Kaspen with a guilty expression. “He thinks you’re leading us on.”
“Huh…?”
“He thinks the human world ruined you.” I’m not sure what this had to do with the human realm.
“I’m not leading you on,” I denied. “I really don’t know what I want.”
“He thinks you do know or that you’re at least not being completely honest.” He pulled his hand away from mine. “He doesn’t want to be used.”
I wasn’t being completely honest. I was so sure I’d leave the moment I got here. That changed but now that Delrose knows where I am I want to run again. I might have been using them before but not anymore.
