CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE
We arrived on time just to see Richard Murray being dragged out by cops in cuffs while paramedics carried out a pale looking girl version of Alec in a stretcher. Even from where I stood, I could tell the girl was about my height or just slightly taller. I was about to rush forward when I saw I like in Lucian and Alec rush out of their car with panic written in the faces.
"Lucian," I called but he didn't turn around. Instead, he rushed towards the stretcher an unreadable expression written all over him.
As I watched, he grew an immense number of mixed emotions ranging from pain to anger, rushing towards Richard with rage detectable in every step he took. Before the cops could get a hold of him, he punched the older man right across his face sending him toppling
