Chapter Twenty-Five

Josiah surprised me yet again when he invited us for lunch the next day. They were supposed to meet his parents, but they left the country yesterday. He had another car pick my mother and sister up and we went to the restaurant he picked together.
"What does your sister like? Does she like flowers?" He asked while he was driving and I shifted my gaze from outside to him.
I thought for a moment and gadgets automatically entered my mind, but I can't possibly tell him that. Besides, I am more than capable of buying what my sisters needs, I just don't like spoiling her too much. Josiah already accused me of tying him to me for money and I don't want him to think like that.
